Activities.
- Preparation of 5 Protected Area Management Plans, 5 Species Management Plans and 5 Landscape Management Plans in selected landscapes of the project.
- Preparation of implementation-ready frameworks for 15 management plans and Assam’s first HEC Strategy and Action Plan.
- Participation of 19 Forest Rangers in the training on Integrated Conservation and Development at Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal and 18 veterinarians in the training programme on ‘Wildlife and health management’ at Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun.
- Construction of Veterinary Hospital and Rescue Facility at Manas National Park & Tiger Reserve.
- Completion of landscape management, grassland management, wetland management and invasive weed management interventions across selected landscapes.
- Construction of 33 artificial water holes for water availability during lean season and 2 aerobridges for Hoolock gibbon conservation.
- Conduction of a comprehensive study and preparation of report on Assam’s State bird White-Winged Wood Duck in Nameri National Park.
- Conduction of a study on evaluation of Deepor beel in Guwahati and report preparation.
- Organization of 3 international exposure visit under Indo-Pacific Park and Biodiversity Partnership was organized along with knowledge sharing workshops in Delhi and Assam.
