Our Activities

    The project envisages implementing activities ranging from capacity building of forest department personnel, augmenting Forest Department’s infrastructure and equipment, and enhancing income generation and livelihood security of forest dependent communities. The Society came into existence on 28th June 2012 with two main objectives:

  • Consolidate the necessary human and financial resources besides providing healthy work environment for successful implementation of the project; especially work programs to meet the stated objectives of the project in participatory mode.
  • Undertake implementation of activities related to various project components including procurement of goods, services and community mobilization for livelihood enhancement as well as adherence to technical and operational processes emphasizing robust implementation framework and stipulated guidelines of the agencies financing the Project.

Aims & Objectives

    Vision/Goal shall be reached through the following three main objectives:

  • Developing participatory Sustainable Forest and Biodiversity management under changing climatic conditions.
  • Improving the livelihoods of Forest dependent communities through inclusive (collective and individual) support.
  • Strengthening the Forest department to better fulfill its mission.
