- Forest Management Information System (FMIS), Plantation Management Information System (PMIS), and GIS Dashboard developed. The FMIS, PMIS, and GIS dashboard applications were deployment on cloud platform.
- The state-of-the-art Geospatial laboratory had been operationalized at Aranya Bhawan, Assam Forest Headquarter.
- Drones are being procured.
- The onsite trainings on FMIS, PMIS, and the GIS dashboard were completed for Forester I, Forester II, and Range Officers.
Plantation Management Information System (PMIS)
A system developed to manage and monitor plantation sites for the state forest department, as well as to view plantations undertaken by other Government Department/ Units/Organizations.
- Provide a comprehensive dashboard and a central database, offering viewers detailed information on various plantations and serving as an improved decision-making tool for the department.
- PMIS provides stage-wise details on site information, location, advance work, fencing, and weeding, thereby helping to record the overall progress at each stage with geotagged photos.
- Enables other Govt. departments to enter their plantation details and provides access to view past progress.

Deforestation Alert System
A cross-platform application developed to generate deforestation alerts with map-based visualization, triggering notification to the concerned officials for deployment of ground staff for immediate actions
- Enables near real time monitoring of forest cover and detects deforestation promptly.
- Alerts forest officials to illegal tree felling and can identify deforestation hotspots thereby prioritizing conservation efforts.
- Assists in tracking patrolling staff and optimizing the deployment of manpower and resources effectively.

Wildlife Management System
The Wildlife Management System is an integrated online platform developed for monitoring and registering wildlife-related incidents via mobile applications, enabling prompt deployment of staff to undertake necessary actions as well as ensuring transparency in the compensation process.
- The application allows users to record wild animal sightings, tracking stray animal, document poaching evidence, report wildlife mortality, and register man-animal conflicts.
- The application enables users to submit ex-gratia claims for losses caused by man-animal conflicts, allowing forest staff to review the request, perform field verification, and approve the claim.
